Compensation and Benefits

The following outline of available benefits is provided with the understanding that compensation and benefit plans may change from time to time. Continuation of any benefits after termination of employment will be solely at the employee's expense and only if permitted by policies and statutes.

A. WORK HOURS & PAYROLL

Subject to REBOOT Recovery work assignments, the Executive Director shall determine the hours of employment that best suits the needs of the work to be done by the individual employee.

Paychecks are distributed twice each month. All salary deductions for regular full and part-time employees are itemized and are available by going to your profile on our payroll website. Salary deductions include: federal and state income taxes (where applicable); social security, and Medicare.

B. Insurance

REBOOT Recovery offers employer-sponsored health insurance plans through Blue Cross Blue Shield (currently BCBS Bronze and BCBS Silver options). Employees may choose to enroll in one of these plans or secure their own health insurance independently.

If you decide not to participate in REBOOT’s health insurance, you are responsible for obtaining and maintaining your own coverage.

The cost of REBOOT’s health insurance plans is part of your total compensation package. This means REBOOT contributes toward the premiums on your behalf, in addition to your regular salary. Choosing coverage elsewhere does not increase your salary or provide additional compensation.

C. SOCIAL SECURITY/MEDICARE/MEDICAID

REBOOT Recovery participates in the provisions of the Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid programs. Employees’ contributions are deducted from each paycheck and REBOOT Recovery contributes at the applicable wage base as established by federal law.

D. WORKERS' COMPENSATION AND UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE

Employees are covered for benefits under the Workers' Compensation Law. Absences for which worker compensation benefits are provided are not held against the employee. To assure proper protection for employees and REBOOT Recovery, any accident that occurs on the job must be reported to the Operations Director, even if there are no injuries apparent at the time.

E. RETIREMENT

Employees are eligible to participate in a SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with an employer match of up to 3% of compensation.

F. HOUSING ALLOWANCE FOR CLERGY

Section 107 of the IRS code specifies that the amount of ministers’ compensation that is designated in advance by their employer as a housing allowance is not taxable in computing federal income tax to the extent that it is used to pay for actual expenses incurred in owning or renting a home or apartment, and does not exceed the fair rental value and maintenance of the home.
